Summer Dreams‘Lazy Lounging’ Chardonnay 2021- Special Priced 3-Pack
The hilltop vineyard site, in some of the oldest blocks, is situated on top of the Eastern ridge and consists of clay content that helps the soil retain precious moisture during the growing season and produces a rich and round, fruit-driven Chardonnay with a crisp, mineral-rich mid palate and finish. The coastal climate of the region is marked by warm, dry summers and cool, damp winters. The nose is defined by ripe orchard and caramelized golden fruits, hints of spice, and beautifully integrated background of oak. Medium to full-bodied with a layered, opulent mouthfeel, this wine captures a remarkable purity of fruit. This 2021 Chardonnay comes from the Freestone-Occidental sub-region in west Sonoma Coast.
Summer Dreams is the newest wine project by Jayson Woodbridge, of Hundred Acre. You might remember years ago when Jayson produced a white wine which had gold specks in the wine. This is the reincarnation of the brand, minus the gold specks. For this debut, it is a collection of wines from unique micro-vineyards across western Sonoma Coast. Each wine is from hillside vineyard sites chosen for their generous slope ranging from 900 – 1900 feet above sea level and unique sequences of Goldridge soil. Goldridge soils are rare, fine-grained sandy loam known for excellent drainage, and a characteristically light and fluffy texture. These soils give the wine texture, dimension, acidity, and length that allows the wines of this area to compete with the very best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir around the world.
