Spottswoode Sauvignon Blanc 2014Napa Valley

Spottswoode has long been considered a benchmark winery for great Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. Their 2014 offering showcases fuller notes than the 2013 which I like. To produce this release, winemaker Aron Weinkauf used stainless steel, French oak and concrete egg-shaped barrels. From the nose to the finish, notes of exotic stone fruit and white floral notes are most prevalent. This is a well-made, structured SB that won't disappoint.
