LAZNapa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

2019 marks the 6th vintage of LAZ. Crafted from a blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot, this Napa Valley Cabernet was harvested at full flavor-ripeness from October 15 through October 30, fermented on skins for
approximately 25 days, transferred to French oak barrels (50% new), and aged in oak for approximately 18 months. The wine
was blended and bottled without fining or filtration on May 12, 2021. It will rest in bottle for almost 48 months before getting released in early 2025. –Celia Welch, winemaker
"The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a lush, nicely textured and full-bodied effort, with velvety layers of cherries, cassis and cedar, plus hints of vanilla and baking spices. A 50-case production, it's 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in 50% new French oak." -Robert Parker Wine Advocate, 95 Points
"Rock star stuff that will handle itself in just about any lineup, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from LAZ Wine has a beautiful bouquet of pure cassis, violets, flowers, and integrated oak. Showing classic 2019 roundness and opulence, it’s medium to full-bodied, has velvety tannins, and a great finish. This blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot spent 18 months in 50% new French oak and is ideal for drinking any time over the coming 10-15 years." -Jeb Dunnuck, 95 Points
