Jean-Pierre Launois Brut NV - K. Laz Wine Collection

Belonging to the Launois family for three generations, Champagne Jean-Pierre Launois is today a winery that retains traditional values while evolving with the times. Jean Pierre Launois, with his son Julien, carry on the family tradition as stewards of the family vineyard, located in the Grand Cru village of Le Mesnil sur Oger in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. The Tradition offers a window into the winemaking philosophy of the Launois family. After 12 hours of cold soak, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Base wines undergo malolactic fermentation and extended lees contact before assemblage. All bottles are hand riddled by Julien and disgorged “A la Voleé.” The result offers a beautiful golden color, fine and persistent mousse, delicate nose of small white fruits and a palate with pear, apple and a rich mouthfeel. A complex and creamy finish leave a lasting impression of this finesse driven and seductive Champagne. 400 cases were produced.
