Grounded Wine Co. 'Public Radio' Red 2017 - K. Laz Wine Collection
This newly released Paso Robles Red was sourced exclusively from select vineyard blocks in the Westside region of the Paso Robles AVA. The regular influx of cooling ocean breezes entering Westside through the passes of the Templeton Gap helped to balance out the warm summer days. In the glass, it offers fresh aromas of Bing cherry, strawberry and raspberry, with very subtle hints of violet and allspice. On the palate, the wine is seamless. Fresh acidity, supple tannins and red fruit flavors create a synergy that is absolutely captivating and expressive of the very best that a Grenache-based wine can possibly offer, including a long, fragrant finish. It is comprised of 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah. Public Radio is all about enjoying the freedom of your own ideas and to embrace your own personal zeitgeist. The call-letters “KF6RXB” on the label are a nod to his grandfather—these were his call letters as an amateur radio enthusiast, granted to him by the FCC.
