Accendo Cellars Sauvignon Blanc 2016

I personally drink this awesome White whenever I can and love sharing it with friends when they come over. This newest vintage for vintners Bart and Daphne Araujo is produced by one of our longtime favorite winemakers and supporters, Francoise Peschon and viticulturist, Steve Matthiasson. The 2016 Accendo offers elegance and sophistication in the glass and drinks like a Graves. On the palate, “Delicate aromas of citrus blossoms, guava and linden fill the nose, highlighted by notes of green almond and grapefruit rind. On the palate, the wine shows a firm vein of minerality that provides structure to the full, creamy mouthfeel, while on the finish, a lingering minerality completes the complex flavor experience.”
