Abreu'Rothwell Hyde' Red 2021

Harvest always presents its challenges, but instead of resisting, longtime winemaker Brad Grimes let the vineyards lead. It’s in these moments that a wine like Rothwell Hyde takes shape—one that reflects both their farming and winemaking philosophy. At its core are two co-fermentations from Madrona Ranch and Cappella, picked at the height of harvest (September 18 andSeptember 22), with select barrels from Las Posadas and Thorevilos layered in for depth and energy. The 2021 Rothwell Hyde is a true expression of the vintage: 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, 6% Malbec, and 3% Merlot.
