Skipstone Oliver's Blend Red 2013 Alexander Valley

This 2013 Oliver’s Blend Red is the ninth vintage from Skipstone and once again is a tribute to the quality of Cabernet Sauvignon grown on the spectacular hillsides of the Skipstone amphitheater vineyard. With so many pockets of soil differentiation and exposures, Oliver's Blend is a symphonic compilation of aroma and flavor. Comprised of almost all Cabernet Sauvignon from their estate vineyard along with a touch of Merlot, this 2013 showcases renowned winemaker Philippe Melka’s ability to make great Cabernet not just in Napa Valley but in Alexander Valley as well. Full-bodied with finely-grained tannins, this wine’s primary fruit notes are black and red fruit with mocha and secondary notes of earth tones. 428 cases were produced of this current offering.
