Scalon'Priority' Red 2016

We recently tasted this incredible Napa Valley Red made by Julian Fayard, the previous head of winemaking for Philippe Melka’s winemaking projects. This 2016 comes from three estate vineyards in Napa Valley and is juicy, lush and delicious. It is comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. We first tasted this without knowing the price and pegged it as double its retail price. "Fresh, floral and inviting, with mid-weight structure, the 2016 is a terrific choice for drinking now and over the next few years. Mocha, grilled herbs and raspberry jam are nicely pushed forward in this attractive, super-expressive wine." 325 cases were produced.
