This is an incredible single vineyard Lolonis Vineyard, especially for the price. Planted in 1942, this unique Russian River Valley vineyard site is home to the oldest Sauvignon Blanc vines planted in California. Remix Somm Blanc is produced by Master sommelier Willi Sherer who also acts as the director of wine at restaurants Redd and Redd Wood in Yountville. The final blend for his 2014 Old Vine Remix Somm Blanc is comprised of 73% Sauvignon Blanc and 27% Semillon and is reminiscent of a classic white Bordeaux. This stunning wine is both refreshing and complex, offering exceptional wet stone minerality with notes of quince and savory spice.
