This Knights Valley estate vineyard owned by Norma Hunt was planted by Jim Barbour in 2002 and the winemaker since their first vintage continues to be Philippe Melka. Aside from Peter Michael, this is one of the best Cabernets coming out of Knights Valley today. Nestled into the hillside rests this 15-acre Cabernet vineyard. Now with the vineyard another year more mature and with the 2014 vintage being so giving and expansive, this new release showcases “crème de cassis, blackberry, espresso and maybe a hint of chocolate.
