Maybach 'Amoenus' Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

We’re very excited for this 2012 vintage from vintner Chris Maybach. Because of the tougher growing season that 2011 bestowed upon Napa Valley, Chris made the executive decision to not release his 2011 vintage because he didn’t think it was up to par with his previous vintages. It was well worth the wait because the 2012 Amoenus from Calistoga is phenomenal.  The 2012 release marks the 3rd vintage of Amoenus made by Thomas Brown and it offers muscular notes of dark berry with subtle notes of violet and crushed rock. 265 cases were produced.
