Lindstrom Pinot Noir 2013Russian River Valley

Winemaker Celia Welch, one of the best California winemakers today, is most known for her efforts at Scarecrow, Corra and Keever but her Pinot-making debut of this 480 case production of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is awesome. Showing complexity with layers of dark red cherry, raspberry and subtle baking spice and vanilla, this is one of my favorite RRV Pinots to date. There's great balance with the tannins and texture and on the palate, it's silky yet structured.
