Lindstrom Cabernet Sauvignon 2012Stags Leap District

Winemaker Celia Welch who most is known for her efforts at Scarecrow, Corra and Keever, has been making Lindstrom since its debut vintage in 2005. Every year the wines have gained complexity in the glass as the vines have matured and Celia and vineyard manager Mike Wolf have honed in on the vineyard's potential. Situated on a hill resting above the heart of Stags Leap District, this 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon reveals notes of dark red cherry and cocoa dusting with smooth tannins and a satisfying finish. Lindstrom continues to be one of my favorite Stags Leap District producers.
