Lewis Alec’s Blend Red 2014Napa Valley

This is a favorite of ours each year from Randy Lewis; it’s opulent yet focused and showcases pure notes of “blackberry, vanilla blueberry, mocha and oak spices”. Sourced from vineyards in Calistoga, Rutherford and Oak Knoll, the 2014 is a blend of 60% Syrah, 22% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon. There aren’t many California Reds that drink this well and are a blend of Rhone and Bordeaux varieties.
