Kata Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Into its third vintage under the watchful eye of winemaker Benoit Touquette (also of Realm Cellars and his own Fait-Main Wines), this Cabernet comes entirely from vintner David Beckstoffer’s family’s Bourn Vineyard, located in the west valley to bench of St. Helena. Bourn Vineyard was the part of Hayne Vineyard that Andy purchased back in 2010. This newly released 2013 is comprised of 80% Cabernet and 20% Petite Sirah and offers a “pure expression of blackberry and violet notes. This robust wine is rich, textured and creamy, with a long finish that reveals red fruit and graphite.” 500 cases were produced.
