Grounded Wine Co.'Space Age' Rose 2019

The 2019 Space Age Rosé shows a stunningly brilliant pale salmon color. Vibrant aromas of strawberry, rose petal and cranberry are extremely fresh and carry onto the palate with a lingering, fragrant finish. The ethereal wine is a refreshing ode to the great rosés of Provence: light on its feet, perfectly balanced with ample body, modest alcohol, and a mouthwatering finish. Vintner Josh Phelps works with a small number of select growers in the Santa Barbara and Monterey regions to provide their Grenache fruit. With their help, they focus on well-established vineyard blocks that are capable of providing the bright, exciting freshness and mouthfeel to produce this wine.

A native of St. Helena, Josh grew up in a wine family with his father, Chris Phelps producing wine for some of the most revered wineries in Napa Valley including Dominus, Caymus and Swanson Vineyards.
