Addax Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2014Sonoma Coast

This is the second vintage of Addax Pinot Noir brought to the table by Josh Peeples with winemaker Russell Bevan putting his signature touch on this Sonoma Coast 2014 offering. Coming from Gap’s Crown Vineyard and Sun Chase Vineyard, this is a full-bodied, rich Pinot Noir that offers an immediate nose of deep wild black cherry notes and blackcurrant with polished acidity to keep the wine from getting too heavy. The texture is silky and smooth and drinks well immediately upon opening but could benefit even more with a quick half-hour decant. 125 cases were produced.
